President and Chief Executive Officer, Public Broadcasting Service, 1994-1999
For his outstanding service and dedication to public broadcasting; for his leadership in expanding the financial resources of PBS and in developing PBS Learning Ventures, the PBD Kids Channel, and PBS Online; for his vision, innovation and eloguence in a time of change and uncertainty in the telecommunications industry;
The Board extends its gratitude to Ervin S. Duggan for his five and one-half years of service in public broadcasting and wished him well in all his future endeavors.
