That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its appreciation to
Christy Carpenter

Vice Chair, CPB Board of Directors, 1999-2001
The Board gratefully acknowledges and will long remember Ms. Carpenter's five years of service on the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting; her support of pioneering interactive communication technologies; her commitment to providing programming for audiences unserved and underserved by the commercial media; and her encouragement of informed civic engagement;
All of which have advanced CPB's mission to the benefit of our nation.
The Board extends its deepest appreciation and warm wished to Christy Carpenter for continued success in her future pursuits.
