RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of
Lillian Fernandez
Senior Vice President for Government and Community Relations, 1994-1995
Senior Vice President, Government Relations, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, 1995-1997
The Board gratefully acknowledges Ms. Fernandez's service to CPB and the public broadcasting system; her development of effective legislative and executive strategies; her work to sustain relationships with congress and other public broadcasting organizations; her success in concert with public broadcasting colleagues to maintain federal funding for public broadcasting; and her contributions to strengthening CPB's ancillary revenue policy.
The Board extends its appreciation for Ms. Fernandez's dedication and hard work in these areas, and extends its deepest sympathy to the Fernandez family.
