RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of
Diane D. Blair

Chair, CPB Board of Directors, 1997-1999
Vice Chair, CPB Board of Directors, 1996-1997
Chair, Education Committee, 1995-1996
The Board gratefully acknowledges and will long remember Ms. Blair's nearly 20 years of distinguished association with public broadcasting; her leadership, dedication, and numerous contributions to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the entire public broadcasting community; her passion and commitment to bringing education to the unserved and underserved members of American society; and her wisdom, diplomacy and vision, from which public broadcasting has so greatly benefited;
In recognition of her service to our mission and our nation, this Board hereby resolves that the new CPB board room be named The Diane D. Blair Room.
