That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of
Joshua Darsa

Associate Director, News and Public Affairs, 1984-1996
Reporter, Producer, and Writer, NPR, 1971-1981
For his nearly 30 years of distinguished association with public broadcasting; for his passionate commitment to journalism and for his leadership in integrating journalism and news into public affairs; for his award-wining coverage of the Olympics and the Watergate hearings; for his role in developing critically acclaimed programs like The McNeil-Lehrer Newshour, Frontline, and Eyes on the Prize; for his high journalistic standards of excellence and insistence on balance and objectivity; for his integrity, dedication, hard work, and numerous contributions to the public broadcasting community; and for being a true gentleman, the Board extends this appreciation, as well as its heartfelt and deepest sympathy, to the Darsa family.
