RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its deepest appreciation to
Peter Downey
Senior Vice President, PBS Program Business Affairs
For his nearly 40 years of distinguished association with public broadcasting; for his selfless dedication, hard work, and numerous contributions to the entire public broadcasting community; for his knowledge, understanding and diplomacy, which did so much to promote greater cooperation and unity of vision among the diverse elements of public broadcasting; for his wisdome, integrity, and wit; and for his deep commitment to the mission of public broadcasting in its service to the American people; the Board extends this appreciation as well as its heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the Downey family.
