That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its deepest appreciation to
J. Michael Collins
President and Chief Executive Office, Western New York Public Broadcasting Association, 1969-1998
For his pioneering effort in creating WNED-TV; for his precedent setting purchase of existing radio stations for non-commercial use; for his distinguished leadership with the Public Broadcasting Service.
The Board extends its sincere thanks to j. Michael Collins for his years of service on behalf of public broadcasting and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
