That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its sincere appreciation to
Don Marbury
Associate Director for Cultural Programming, 1980-1989
Associate Director, Cultural and Children's Programming, 1983-1989
Director, Television Program Fund, 1989-1995
Vice President, Programming, 1995-1997
For his 17 years of untiring service and dedication to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting; for his role in developing and funding many of public television's outstanding signature series such as Civil War, Rock and Roll, Hoop Dreams, and Puzzle Place, and for his commitment to developing imaginative approaches to programming, especially in the areas of cultural and children's programs.
The Board wishes Mr. Marbury success and happiness as he moves on to other endeavors.
