RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its appreciation to
Daniel L. Brenner
Member of the Board, 1986-1991
Vice Chairman, 1989-1991
For his service and dedication to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting; for his ability to articulate the Corporation's positions to its various constituencies and convey their views to the Board; for his vigorous efforts to uphold the Corporation's fiduciary responsibility for the federal funds it receives on behalf of the American people; for his leadership in developing a strong Board Audit Committee to monitor the Corporation's financial and audit activities; for his dedicated advocacy of public radio; for his chairmanship of the CPB Board Audit Committee and service to the Mission and Goals, and Policy and Planning Committees; and for his rapier wit and sense of humor, which helped make the Board meetings more lively.
The Board expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Brenner and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
