RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its appreciation to
Lloyd E. Kaiser
Member of the Board, 1984-1989
Chairman, Mission and Goals Committee, 1987-1989
For his service and devotion to the Corporation and all of public broadcasting; for his firm commitment to the important and unique role public broadcasting should play in providing essential educational and outreach services to the American people; for his recognition of the importance of international co-production and co-financing in bringing new and exciting public broadcasting programming to American audiences; for his strong advocacy of cooperation among all elements of the public broadcasting community; for his able representation of the interests of public radio and public television stations on the CPB Board; and for his membership on the following committees: Mission and Goals (Chair), Audit, and Ad Hoc Committee on New Initiatives and Financing.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation and warm wishes to Mr. Kaiser for continued success in his future pursuits on behalf of public broadcasting.
