That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its deepest appreciation to
Donald E. Ledwig
President and Chief Executive Officer, 1987-1992
Vice President and Treasurer, 1984-1987
For his distinguished service to the Board and to the Corporation; for his many contributions to public telecommunications in America; and especially for his efforts to enhance programming, expand audiences, increase funding, and ensure state-of-the-art replacement satellites; and for working to obtain new private financial support for the Corporation's educational mission.
