RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting expresses its sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to
Marshall C. Turner Jr.
Chairman of the Board, 1990-1992
Member of the Board, 1987-1992
For his dedicated and energetic efforts on behalf of public broadcasting; for the effective leadership he provided to the Board, the Corporation, and the entire industry; for his dedicated pursuit of cooperative working relationships among all elements of public broadcasting, especially through his tireless representation of the Board and the Corporation at meetings of national and regional public broadcasting organizations; for th valuable business experience he brought to the Board; for his fairness and eagerness to consider all points of view; for his efforts to define and articulate the changing role of the Corporation in a multimedia environment of new technologies; and for his membership on the following committees: Mission and Goals (Chairman), Audit, and Ad Hoc Committee on New Initiatives and Financing.
The Board extends its thanks to Mr. Turner for his contributions to public broadcasting and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
