WHEREAS,
The CPB Board Chairman and the CPB Audit and Finance Committee along with other Board members have interviewed and evaluated candidates for the permanent, full-time position of Inspector General for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT,
The CPB Board of Directors authorizes the CPB Board Chairman and the Chairman of the CPB Audit and Finance Committee, to offer the position of Inspector General to one of the candidates interviewed this 27th day of January, 1997. The name of the candidate will be disclosed at a later date, following the negotiation and acceptance of compensation and terms and conditions of employment.
