Allocation of Mission and Goals Fund to Public Television International Consortium Secretariat

WHEREAS,
The Board of Directors has received a recommendation from Management for an allocation from the Mission and Goals Fund for an initiative to benefit public broadcasting that was not included in the current year operating budget; and
WHEREAS,
This recommendation has been reviewed and approved by the Board's Finance Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
That the Board approves an allocation from the Mission and Goals Fund of $739,674 for a three-year commitment to upgrade the Public Television International Consortium Secretariat, as described in Management's memorandum of May 12,1993. This commitment would be in the form of an annually renewable agreement.
