FY 1996 Mission and Goals Fund
Unanimously
WHEREAS,
In July 1995, the CPB Board established an FY 1996 Public Television Future Fund and an FY 1996 Public Radio Future Fund to assure the continued and near universal availability of high quality public service broadcasting, while encouraging greater efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability for the investment of public funds;
WHEREAS,
These Future Funds will enhance greater self-sufficiency in an environment of greatly reduced federal appropriations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
That the Board approves an allocation of $950,000 from the Mission and Goals Fund for part of the cost of the FY 1996 Public Television and Public Radio Future Funds.
