Modification to FY 2011 Operating Budget
Unanimously
WHEREAS,
Congress has passed legislation for FY 2011 rescinding 0.2 percent of discretionary domestic spending for every entity receiving federal funds, including CPB; and
WHEREAS,
CPB Management recommends applying the rescinded amount equally across all funding categories of CPB’s FY 2011 operating budget and from CPB’s FY 2011 digital appropriation.
BE IT RESOLVED,
The CPB Board of Directors directs Management to take steps, consistent with all applicable legal and statutory requirements, to return 0.2 percent of CPB’s federal appropriation for the FY 2011 as described above.
