Greg Schnirring, Vice President, Station Grants and TV Station Initiatives

Greg Schnirring is Vice President, Station Grants and TV Station Initiatives at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Schnirring oversees policy implementation for the Community Service Grant (CSG) program and directs the operations of the Office of Grants Administration. He also collaborates with other management, staff, and the system on policy development for the CSG program. In addition, his portfolio includes implementing initiatives to help stations provide strong public service to their communities and encouraging greater efficiencies, effectiveness, and collaboration.

Previously, Schnirring served for 10 years as the CPB Vice President, Radio, where he oversaw the CPB Radio Program Fund, radio system investments, station relations, and the CPB Radio Department's administrative activities. Schnirring has worked full-time in public broadcasting for more than 35 years and served as the Director of Radio at both Wisconsin Public Radio and South Dakota Public Radio. He has served on the boards of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and Public Radio in Mid-America, and on the executive committee of the Integrated Media Association.

He holds a BS in Business Administration from Morningside College in Sioux City and an MA from the University of South Dakota.
