Awards for Contributions to Public Broadcasting

Each year the Corporation for Public Broadcasting recognizes outstanding individual contributions to public broadcasting by presenting the Ralph Lowell Medal, public television's most prestigious award, the Edward R. Murrow Award, for individuals whose work has fostered the growth, quality, and positive image of public radio and the Fred Rogers Award recognizing outstanding contributions in the field of children's educational services. From time to time, CPB recognizes outstanding individual contributions to public broadcasting by presenting the special Lifetime Achievement Award.
