On the first Thursday of every month, Minnesota’s public radio station WTIP (in Grand Marais) hosts a one-hour, live, interactive conversation on an issue of community importance. WTIP chooses a topic, brings guests into the studio, and invites listeners to call in or e-mail with questions, comments, and concerns. This participatory program is designed to give everyone a voice in the discussion of public affairs that shape their community.
