Two programs investigating the U.S. economic crisis resulting from global fraud and failing financial institutions. “The Madoff Affair” and “Breaking the Bank” are segments of a five-part series to be included in Frontline’s Project Meltdown initiative. The project’s Web site streams the full programs, offers an interactive timeline to the crisis with companion and Web-exclusive video as well as links to Frontline programs that have been thematically organized with accompanying text and related archived content. In addition, the Project Meltdown programs and content are shared with NPR’s Planet Money and the PBS NewsHour.
