A three-year grant to fund the production and/or acquisition of content by ITVS, a programming service mandated by the Public Broadcasting Act. ITVS programs appear on the weekly series Independent Lens. ITVS also places independent content on every major public television strand (such as Frontline, American Experience, and P.O.V.), and delivers program specials for the National Programming Service.
