Keoni Kealoha Alvarez, Hawaiian Island Productions
Pahoa, HI
Throughout the last 17 years, the producers have been protecting a cave containing the remains of their ancient Hawaiian ancestors. Due to the increase of land development throughout the Hawaiian Islands, ancient Hawaiian burial sites are becoming threatened by development and desecration. There is a great value in protecting these historical sites for they hold the keys to Hawai‘i’s past.
