Support for the public broadcast station’s partnership with its state education agency in designing, piloting, and executing an initial plan for assessing, aligning, and integrating research-tested and curriculum-based Ready To Learn products and services into early childhood (pre-K to Grade 2) education, and in other learning environments (e.g., formal and informal child-care settings; before- and after-school programs, etc.). Iowa Public Television works with the Iowa Department of Education and Iowa Department of Human Services, as well as with other statewide child-care and literacy organizations, to align RTL resources to standards for children pre-K through second grade, teacher professional development, and parent education programs, scaling statewide via the IPTV ICN fiber optic network.
