This multiplatform project includes a three-part series of two-hour episodes that takes viewers on a journey exploring human nature and emotion. The series host, Dr. Daniel Gilbert, is a professor of psychology at Harvard University and the author of the best-seller Stumbling on Happiness. Gilbert examines the latest scientific research on the physiological origins of happiness and fulfillment in the human brain. He explores with a critical eye how individuals can achieve both. A co-production of WGBH/Nova, Vulcan Productions and Kunhardt-McGee Productions, the project utilizes the Web to extend the reach and impact of the series online and in social networks. It is supported by an ambitious national outreach and promotion initiative that includes a broad partnership of organizations.
