PBS NewsHour CPB’s investments in The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer (renamed PBS NewsHour during FY 2009) ranged from its general funding for PBS’s National Program Service to a variety of specific projects, such as expanded coverage of the current global economic crisis and projects exploring the future of journalism.
