StoryCorps

Brooklyn, NY

$789,050

This nationwide initiative brings StoryCorps and public broadcasting directly to Latinos. It lays new groundwork for delivering service to the nation’s largest ethnic minority, and breaks down barriers, including language, that keep many Latinos from participating in the StoryCorps experience and allows English-only radio listeners access to the stories of many Latinos. The grant also supports the design of media and marketing activities to increase national awareness of the project.
