PBS Hawaii developed Na Mele: Traditions In Hawaiian Song to preserve the extraordinary music of Hawaii performed by some of the island’s best talents in its purest form, live and impromptu.
Aloha Shorts is a program of local literature, actors, and musicians on Honolulu’s KHPR. The broadcast, which airs Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., is taped before a live audience on the first Sunday of every month.
