Utah
KUED-TV in Salt Lake City airs Utah NOW, a weekly 30-minute magazine-style series hosted by Doug Fabrizio Friday at 7:30 p.m. with a rebroadcast Sundays at 11:30 a.m. The program is a combination of mini-documentaries examining local news stories and issues; in-studio panel discussions; and one-on-one interviews with high-profile news makers such as community activists, politicians, religious and business leaders, authors, artists, educators, and citizens affected by the issue under discussion.
Real Families, Real Answers on KBYU-TV 11 shows how real people can overcome the challenges of everyday family life. Narrated by Jane Clayson Johnson, each 30-minute episode deals with issues that affect nearly all families at one time or another. Award-winning director Blair Treu and his crew of filmmakers spent the better part of a year traveling across the United States living with families of various sizes, backgrounds, and circumstances.
