Blue Ridge PBS in Roanoke is offering a new health program, HealthQuest, which covers many aspects of modern health: prevention, treatment, research, administration, and medical technologies. Among the topics covered: heart health, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes. The program also showcases some of the top-notch medical facilities and practitioners in the region.
WMRA-FM in Harrisonburg produces a call-in talk show, Virginia Insight, which airs every Monday at 3 p.m., just before All Things Considered. Topics range from politics, culture, and technology to religion, entertainment, and personal relationships.
