West Virginia
The Law Works, hosted by Dan Ringer, is a weekly show on West Virginia PBS discussing legal issues that affect daily life. Now in its 10th season, airing Thursdays at 8:30 p.m., the program tackles issues ranging from buying a house to identity theft and wiretapping.
Returning to the air in January 2011, The Legislature Today is West Virginia’s source for daily legislative news and information featuring reports from the Senate, House, and committee meetings, with in-depth interviews about the issues facing the state.
On Saturdays at 6 a.m., WVPN-FM in Charleston broadcasts Inside Appalachia, an hourlong weekly radio newsmagazine devoted to topics of interest in the southern Appalachian region.
WVMR-FM in Frost produces Allegheny Showcase, the station’s local arts program.
