This project is part of an ongoing effort to increase public radio listenership among young African American audiences. Contractor will conduct market analysis and music testing as well as research-based recommendations for African American public radio stations WCLK, Atlanta; WNCU, Durham, North Carolina; and KTSU, Houston. It will also use commonalities identified in each market’s research findings to create a unique music format that will ultimately serve as a model for other public radio stations seeking to increase younger, African American listening.
