The Healthy State Local Journalism Center will be formed by stations in Florida—WUSF Public Broadcasting, Tampa; WEDU, Tampa; WGCU Public Media, Fort Myers; WMFE Public Broadcasting, Orlando; WMNF, Tampa; and WUFT, Gainesville— to provide coverage on healthcare from both a personal and policy perspective. The center will reach its audience through multiple platforms using multimedia content and will establish an advisory group of academic and medical experts who will help identify topics and community engagement activities.
