A tribute to dancer and choreographer Suzushi Hanayagi, this film will be told from the perspective of her close collaborator and theater director, Robert Wilson. Confined to a wheelchair in a retirement home in Osaka, Hanayagi has begun to lose all memory of her long career as an acclaimed classical and modern dancer. The film will explore the complexities of aging in the arts while illuminating the life and work of an artist whose experiences found voice among the syntheses of classical and modern forms.
