This unique multimedia project creates hourlong radio episodes, video documentary shorts, video features, photos, music, blogs, and written articles to immerse its audience in new and exciting ways. The content will play on radio (the grantee has a tentative distribution agreement with NPR and PRX), video outlets such as the World channel, and across the Internet. The project team is led by host, writer, producer, director, poet, and Public Radio Talent Quest winner Al Letson. PRX will serve as the fiscal agent. Working with selected stations on community engagement, the project will explore the resonating themes, stories, challenges, and cultural components that create communities across the country.
