Hosted by Public Radio Talent Quest winner and “MacArthur genius” Majora Carter, this series will focus on the stories of people who are transforming communities. Each one-hour radio program will feature intimate conversations with leaders—from urban homesteaders to rural activists to Nobel laureates—who are working toward environmental and economic sustainability. WNYC New York will be the presenting station. The program and its Web site will bring a broad range of new voices and perspectives to public radio.
