This is the first year of a two-year National Program Service (NPS) grant to PBS for basic NPS programming. The series and programs funded hereunder and the amounts allocated for each must be approved by CPB. For 2010, this grant provided support for the following programs and series:
American Experience [season 23], WGBH, Boston;
American Masters [season 23], WNET, New York;
Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood [26-episode library renewal and streaming], Family Communications Inc., Pittsburgh;
Fetch! [season 5], WGBH, Boston;
Great Performances [season 37], WNET, New York;
NewsHour with Jim Lehrer [season 25], MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, Washington;
Nova [season 37], WGBH, Boston;
Sesame Street [Season 41], Sesame Workshop, New York; and
Washington Week [season 44], WETA, Washington.
