This lifelong-learning, health-literacy initiative will be a working, community-based model of health empowerment and engagement. This project will develop and evaluate a grassroots community engagement anti-obesity initiative as a model for addressing community health needs. It will also support the rebranding of WNED’s ThinkBright to ThinkBright and Well. The community engagement model will help combat and prevent obesity in children and adults in Buffalo’s 14204 Zip code and serve as a model replicable in other parts of WNED’s service area and by other stations.
