Native America CallingNational Native News 2011–2012

Native America Calling (NAC) and National Native News (NNN) cover a wide spectrum of Native American and Alaska Native issues and ensure that Native voices are heard in our national discourse. NAC, a daily one-hour call-in program, and NNN, a five-minute daily news program, are carried by nearly every Native radio station in the country, including rural and reservation stations, and several urban, non-Native radio stations. This one-year grant will allow the two programs to continue to enrich the diversity of American media by educating the public with cultural offerings, questions and dialogue not offered by commercial media programming. The programs are offered on-air and online.
