A series of seven two- to four-minute animated shorts based on StoryCorps audio recordings, including some interviews related to the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, and some interviews with teachers concerning educational issues, especially dropouts. The shorts are to air on POV’s 2011 and 2012 seasons and also to be distributed to public television stations as stand-alone interstitials, as well as made available online at the websites of StoryCorps, PBS/POV, YouTube and individual public television stations.
