National Program Service (NPS) 2010–2011 FY 2011 (Year 2 of 2)

This is the second year of a two-year National Program Service (NPS) grant to PBS for basic NPS programming. The series and programs funded under this agreement and the amounts allocated for each must be approved in advance by CPB. For 2011, this grant provided support for the following programs and series:

  • American Experience (season 24), WGBH, Boston
  • American Masters (season 24), WNET, New York
  • Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (season 1), Family Communications Inc., Pittsburgh, and Out of the Blue, New York
  • Frontline (season 29), WGBH, Boston
  • History Detectives (season 9), Oregon Public Broadcasting, Portland, Oregon
  • Nature (season 29), WNET, New York
  • Nova (season 37), WGBH, Boston
  • PBS NewsHour (season 26), MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, Arlington, Virginia
  • Sesame Street (season 42), Sesame Workshop, New York
  • Washington Week (season 45), WETA, Washington
  • Wild Kratts (seasons 1 and 2), Kratt Brothers Company, Isle LaMotte, Vermont
