This program explores the contemporary social phenomenon of Western men who travel thousands of miles across the Pacific to seek Asian wives. The story focuses on an elderly white man whose dream of finding a young Asian wife comes true when he meets a young woman from Anhui, China, over the Internet. When she agrees to move to the U.S. to be his fiancée, fantasy and reality collide as the two struggle to overcome vast differences in culture, language and age in order to forge a lasting relationship.
