POV is television’s longest-running showcase for independent, nonfiction films and premieres 14 to 16 bold, innovative programs each year on PBS. Funding was allocated to support the outreach of Biblioburro, the only Latino program in the 2011 season. This support allowed for a satellite media tour (to garner television coverage), radio tour and translation of press releases for Spanish-language media.
