A one-year agreement to provide programming and operational expenses for Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB), one of the national minority programming consortia designated by CPB to provide culturally relevant content for the public media system. CPB funds these consortia as part of its commitment to develop and fund high-quality, culturally diverse programming for the American viewing public. In the past, LPB received individual agreements for programming activities and operational support; this grant differs in that it combines programming and operations in one contract. This agreement will enable LPB to develop multiplatform projects to increase the level of engagement with Latino communities. The grant will also provide support for LPB to support content created by diverse artists who produce works for public media.
