Public radio’s Station Resource Group and public television’s Affinity Group Coalition (with the National Educational Telecommunications Association acting as financial manager) will build on accomplishments of the recent Editorial Integrity Project by extending their work on issues related to the principles, policies and practices in the public media system for four additional months. They will form two additional working groups—one to focus on implementing transparency through funding and content creation, and another on public media employees’ activities outside and beyond their public media employers.
They will also engage experts from outside public media to critique the project’s recommendations.
