The Diane Rehm Show is produced at WAMU-FM and heard each week by 2.2 million listeners on NPR, NPR Worldwide, and Sirius satellite radio. Describing the show as the “gold standard in civic, civil discourse,” a 2009 George Foster Peabody Award was bestowed on the host, who has been at the helm of this multiple award-winning show since 1979.
WHUT-TV’s Evening Exchange, hosted by award-winning radio and television personality Kojo Nnamdi, features one-on-one interviews with writers, philosophers, and newsmakers whose works offer insights into the African American community.
WPFW-FM’s public affairs programming encompasses discussion programs on economic, political, and social issues, including Metro Watch, a weekly half-hour program hosted by Gloria Minott.
