Equipment Discount for CPB Conversion Grant Applicants

Dear Colleagues:

We are pleased, once again, to report that the vendors listed below have agreed to substantially discount orders for HD products purchased by CPB HD conversion grant recipients.

Broadcast Electronics
Discounts of at least 10% or up to 29% for BE manufactured products

Continental
Discounts of 15%. 10-15% on vendor products purchased through Continental.

Harris Broadcast Products
Discounts of 20% (If the HD Neural Processor is purchased, discount increases to 22%)

Nautel
Discounts of 15%-20%

Sencore
Discounts of 10%-15%

You should identify your station as a CPB conversion grant applicant when seeking quotations from these companies. Please include all available discounts in your grant budget line items. Finally, we would also remind you that these discounts are not intended to supplant your station's established procurement procedures.
