CPB/Emma Bowen Foundation Summer Internship Grant Program

CPB recognizes the importance of attracting talent to public broadcasting and cultivating the range of voices, backgrounds, cultures, and ideas within the industry. Accordingly, CPB intends to develop an internship grant program through the Emma Bowen Foundation, an organization that facilitates minority internships within the media industry.

  • Maryland Public Television (Baltimore)
  • WNYC Radio (New York)
  • WOSU Radio (Columbus, OH)

Applicant Qualifications

Applications for grant awards will be accepted from CPB-qualified non-commercial educational (NCE) licensees.

Applications for retroactive funding will not be accepted.

Funding

Grants of up to $2,000 per internship salary per summer will be awarded on a 50% station matching basis.
