Equipment Discounts for Priority I Grant Applicants
The vendors listed below have agreed to offer certain discount orders for HD products purchased by public radio stations. CPB does not endorse or require the use of any particular manufacturer. The below discounts are presented for informational purposes only. Stations should contact manufacturers directly to verify the terms of discounts made available by such manufacturers.
Broadcast Electronics
BE product discounts range from 20% to 35% based upon the model of equipment purchased and overall project value. BE also offers resale items for turnkey HD systems at discounts ranging from 5-20% depending on the products purchased.
Continental
Continental offers discounts to it's manufactured products ranging from 15% to 25%, depending on the quantity of Continental products purchased. Non-Continental (vended) products will receive a discount from 5% to 25%, depending on the quantity and manufacturer of the products purchased.
Harris Broadcast Products
Harris Manufactured transmission products will be discounted at 30%.
Nautel
Nautel product discounts range from 15% to 20% (varies by equipment) on Nautel manufactured equipment -- conditional on a direct purchase from Nautel (not applicable through a sales agent).
