Questions and Answers

In response to questions we have received from stations regarding the Pre-Qualified Supplier List and request for additional time to complete the Mobile DTV project, we have made the following revisions to the Guidelines (PDF).

1. Pre-Qualified Suppliers: Do stations have to select one of the pre-qualified suppliers listed in the Guidelines?

The list of Pre-Qualified Suppliers provided in the Guidelines is a suggested list of suppliers; stations may select equipment from any Mobile DTV supplier. However, such equipment will be subject to evaluation following the receipt of the grant application.

2. Length of Project: How long do I have to complete my Mobile DTV project?

In order to give stations enough time to complete their Mobile DTV projects, we have changed the time Stations have to complete their projects to 6 months.
