Digital Distribution Fund (DDF) Round 17: Frequently Asked Questions

It is essential to a successful application to thoroughly read and understand the Round 17 application Guidelines (PDF). Before beginning your application pay particular attention to those sections of the Guidelines applicable to your project category.

1. Where can I find information on the Digital Distribution Fund Round 17 grant program?

Visit www.cpb.org and select Digital Distribution Fund Round 17. Here you'll find the Guidelines explaining the grant round.

2. How do I submit my application?

Applicants must use the electronic application form and templates posted on www.cpb.org to file their applications AND all applications must be submitted via mail to ddf@cpb.org by 8:00 p.m. EST on August 31, 2011.

3. How do I obtain a username and password for the online application?

To access the information you will need a username and password unique to your stations' licensee. The "Licensee Official" and the "Head of Grantee" of each licensee, as they are identified in the CPB ISIS system, will receive emails describing the process for obtaining passwords. If you have not received this information by December 16, 2010, please contact us at ddf@cpb.org. Once you verify your identity and obtain a password, you will be given a link to the materials.

4. Will there be another DDF grant round in the future?

Stations should consider that this may be the last opportunity to receive DDF funding.

5. Who do I contact with questions regarding the guideline or the application process?

All questions related to the DDF Round 17 should be directed to the TV Digital Grants Manager, Tracy Locke-Kitt (ddf@cpb.org or 202.879.9816).
